winter, good or bad ?

hi i'm hudson as a kid i go to school, at school the make us sing but they also give us a winter break from late the 21st of december to january 4th, so is winter torture or hevan?

Well, Hudson... I live in Florida, so we really don't have winter with snow and stuff. I heard that it snowed once in Daytona Beach about six years ago for only about twenty minutes. That's all the snow I've ever heard about and I've been here for seven years! I miss winter, though. It's nice to have sometimes. I grew up around Maryland, DC, Virginia, New York and everywhere in between. When you live in a place like Florida, it's hot, hot, hot, hot.. then it cools off a little.. then it's REALLY COLD.. then it warms up a little.. and then it's back to hot, hot, hot, hot, hot. No snow anywhere, though! The one thing I do like about the winter though is that when it's really cold outside, you can always put on some gloves or a jacket.. maybe a scarf.. and bundle up and stay warm. And hot chocolate! That's always good. But with summertime? When it gets hot, you can put on shorts and maybe a t-shirt or a tank top but that's it! If you're still hot, you can't take anything else off! You have to go indoors to cool off because you get all sweaty and stinky. Blech. That's no fun. So I think I like winter much better than summer. Winter really isn't so bad. That was a great question, Hudson! It really made me think!
